Jongomero is a luxury safari camp nestled amongst acacia treess on the banks of the Jongomero Sand River, part of the Ruaha.

Accommodation is in eight spacious luxury tents with thatched roof and en-suite facilities. Each tent has a large private viewing verandah.

The camp offers a spacious tented lounge, bar and dining tent, with the option of outdoor dining and bush picnics. There is also a large rockpool for swimming which overlooks the river - a great way to while away a hot afternoon. The camp is noted for its excellent dining with alfresco dining, excellent buffets, bush picnics - a taste of international cuisine with a unique East African slant.

There are day and evening game drives, as well as all-day drives with bush picnic. The river affords the visitor excellent birdwatching opportunities as well as sights of game coming to water from the banks.
