Nestled amongst the rain forests of the Virungas the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge is the ideal luxury base for a gorilla tracking safari. Close to the research centre created by Dian Fossey for the mountain gorillas she dedicated her life to. Her memorial is at the research centre.

Accommodation at  Sabyinyo consists of five double cottages, two suites and one family suite. All offer spacious accommodation and stylish bathrooms. Each cottage has its own private verandah.

The lodge itself has magnificent views across the Vicuna Volcanoes and features a dining room, comfy sitting room with bar service, library, games room, shops and toilet facilities.
